 Carlo Mari has been a professional underwater photographer for over twenty years. He has worked for all the major Italian and international specialist magazines, and has published some books dedicated to the Mediterranean.
Today, Carlo Mari is also an advertising photographer, and is renowned all over the world for his reportages on African wildlife, collected together in 8 books published by world class publishers. For the images in this calendar, Mari did not resort to digital techniques, but used the traditional method of fusing together original underwater images, projected directly onto the bodies of the models in a studio that was designed especially for this kind of photo shoot. |
